Reshoot Blog

We refilmed on March 2nd. We decided we need to refilm the week before after we finished editing all of our footage. We had to refilm most of the bedroom and kitchen scenes. We went to the same house we used earlier. We started filming around 4:30 and we had a time limit since it was a weekday. We had on one computer out shooting script out and on another computer our edited footage. We followed what was on the script. We also tried to make it match the scenes we already edited. This helped us with time so we didn't have to refilm the whole scene. We had to film the bedroom scene a few times because the awkward silence was comical to our group. That meant we had to reset the alarms so the camera couldn't pick up our laughter. We finished around 4:45 but we took a break and started filming again at 5. We started to film the kitchen scene. We had no previous footage of the kitchen scene so we decided what we were going to film is what we will use. The scene wasn't long and we finished close to 5:30. All we needed after the kitchen scene was one part outside. We hurried in case the sun would set. We just had to film our main character holding her phone and walking down the sidewalk. That scene took less than 5 minutes to film. I had all the videos emailed to me and I put the footage in order on iMovie so it would be easier to edit later.
